NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY
General Surgeon: Duties include providing inpatient and
outpatient care to surgical patients of The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Will
participate in daily hospital rounds, review all diagnostic testing results
ordered by them, review of all consultations, completion of all necessary
documents/forms, and work closely with the case management staff including
facilitation of the discharge process. Will assure follow-up on all pending
tests, prepare discharge summaries and provide consultative services to
physicians at The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. 1:4 on-call responsibilities. A
Medical Degree is required. Completion of Residency in General Surgery is
required. Board Certification or Eligibility by the American Board of Surgery is
required and must be eligible for Connecticut medical licensure. Contact: Mark
