Dr. Martinez explains everything thoroughly and slowly enough for me to understand. I asked to see where the echocardiogram showed a hole in my heart and he explained the colors and showed me where the hole is. He was reassuring. We also discussed my dizziness which has decreased and my cholesterol which has gone down and I believe some other things, too. I feel welcome to ask questions and get answers. I feel like my well-being is important.

I needed a new cardiologist, and Dr. Fernandez was recommended by Silda James, MD, my PCP. I needed a cardio gram and clearance before shoulder surgery, and Dr. Fernandez was at the ready! He fit me into an already filled appointment schedule, examined me and my medical history and followed me in CHH following my surgery. I like his gentle demeanor and ability to see the whole picture so as to rule out anything which was missed. I have every confidence in him and fully appreciate his bedside manner and attention to details; I feel I have an excellent care provider in him, and am grateful for his skills.
