The Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH) is a 17 bed unit both semi-private and private rooms for 18 years and older.
The unit provides brief, comprehensive psychiatric stabilization, locked psychiatric care, medical detoxification, and dual diagnosis treatment in a recovery oriented setting. The unit is designed to encourage positive behavioral growth and improved functioning in a safe, highly structured, supportive environment.
Visiting Hours:
Monday to Friday:
6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Weekends and Holidays:
1:00 PM to 1:45 PM and 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Please note that individuals under the age of 13 cannot visit our unit. Thank you.
