Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT’s Supportive Assessments Fast and Effective (SAFE) Program offers the assessment of crisis and urgent levels of care of children and youths, including suicidal and homicidal ideation, through the age of 18. Same day and next day evaluations are available.
Trained Crisis Clinicians for assessing homicidal and suicidal ideation treatment are available at our conveniently located office at 1061 East Main Street, Torrington, CT. to assist with situations such as:
- Suicidal Ideation
- Homicidal Ideation
- Severe Depression
- Severe Anxiety
- Trauma Symptoms
- Severe Disruptive Behavior
Clinicians at CHH Center of Youth Families provide the following:
- A thorough clinical assessment, including a Psychiatric evaluation as needed
- A plan for stabilization of symptoms
- Referrals to a more appropriate level of care or program as needed
- Brief/Supportive Treatment until symptoms have stabilized.
- Collaboration with the community resources around the child/youth and family
