Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH) paid special thanks to its staff at their annual Employee Service Recognition Dinner held recently at Fairview Farms Golf Club. Each year during national hospital week, full-time, part-time and per diem employees are selected and honored based on their years of service in 5-year increments.
This year, the hospital recognized a total of 117 employees celebrating milestone anniversaries, including one with 45 years of service, two with 40 years, two with 35, twelve with 30, eight with 25, thirteen with 20, seven with 15 years, twenty-two with 10 years and fifty with 5 years of service.
Highlights of the evening included the hospital’s senior staff handing certificates of achievement to attendees including Charles Birge in the CHH Purchasing Department who received a standing ovation for his 45 years of service and Dr. Nirmal Kathuria for her 40 years of service.
“This is one of our favorite nights as it gives us a wonderful opportunity to formally thank our employees for their dedication to our patients and community. Whether they are celebrating five or 45 years at Charlotte Hungerford, it is evident that we are all proud of their accomplishments,” says Dan McIntyre, Senior Vice President for HHC and President of the Northwest Region.
